Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Wendesday night.
The result wasn’t enough to hand Liverpool the title without playing, with the Reds now needing just a single point from their next outing against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend to seal it.
An early Jakub Kiwior header looked like it would set the Gunners onto a comfortable win, but Palace weren’t short of chances and deservedly drew level in the first half through Eberechi Eze.
Leandro Trossard restored Arsenal’s lead shortly before the break, with a spectacular late strike from substitute Jean-Philippe Mateta ensuring the points would be shared.
